Get to know and help your inner parts transform

We all have limiting beliefs, critical voices toward ourselves and others, behaviors, impulses, and reactions that often create conflicts in our relationships and generate inner tension.

You can probably recognize these energies as inner parts or voices in which one part of you wants one thing and another part of you opposes it. "One part of me pushes me forward, and another part of me pushes me toward stillness or inactivity." Or "One part of me is messy, reactive, and impulsive, and another part of me is disciplined and strives to maintain composure and present a good image to others." Sounds familiar, right?

You've probably tried more than one technique to discipline, silence, or exile some of these inner voices. Reasoning, affirmations, and certain types of meditation seem like good strategies. Unfortunately, many of these practices focus on symptoms rather than causes, and they can lead to constant frustration, forced discipline, and a waste of energy trying to keep these voices we don't like out of our consciousness and from interfering in our lives.

But…  Have you ever wondered how these voices got there, and why they're part of you?

This is where the work of internal parts of Internal Family Systems comes into play.®. IFS is a very effective evidence-based therapeutic model that It helps us to know, help and heal the parts of ourselves that are in conflict and wounded, while creating a direct connection with our Self, Essential Being or inner wisdom.

Unlike other methods, IFS encourages us to make friends with the different parts of our personality, even the most dark and conflicted ones. When we approach them with curiosity and compassion and listen to their stories, we can discover and heal the roots of what prevents us from living in connection, authenticity, lightness, and with an open heart.

Working with your internal parts through IFS can help you:

What you will learn in this workshop:

The IFS internal map

You'll see that we all have protective parts, vulnerable parts, and a central SELF. You'll learn the different roles and specific functions these parts have and how they relate to each other.

How to enter and navigate your inner world

You will learn to detect and recognize the presence of your parts and what to do with them.

Establish a healing connection with your parts

Through a guided practice, you will learn to know and relate to your protective parts.

You will see a live IFS process facilitated by a therapist

You'll gain a clear understanding of what inner work with the parts is like by observing a person's process (you could be the one to do the process with the therapist if you wish). This is also very healing for those observing the process, as many things resonate and are mobilized.
